They're primarily used in over-the-road trucking (max US trailer length). For storage, 40ft is the volume sweet spot. We get them when supply hits the resale market.
Same truck as 40ft, but the trailer overhangs an extra 5'. Tight residential approaches that work for 40ft may not work for 45ft. Send photos.
Only if you need the extra 5' of length specifically. Per cubic foot the math is similar — you're paying for the form factor, not better economics.
