One-Trip (OT) is the closest thing to a new container you can buy. Factory paint, original gaskets, latches that operate smoothly, floor with maybe a single cargo line's worth of wear. The container made one ocean crossing — so there might be a few transit scrapes or a small dent at a corner — but the difference between One-Trip and brand-new is cosmetic.
Single coat, uniform color (usually gray, tan, beige, or green). Clean lines, no patches.
Maybe a forklift mark or two from the single load/unload. No major impacts.
Smooth operation, fresh gaskets, locking gear still tight.
Marine plywood, fresh varnish or paint. Single cargo wear pattern at most.
Often still has the manufacturer's logo on the side. Easy to paint over if you want.
Typically $1,000-$3,000 more than Cargo-Worthy of the same size. You pay for the cosmetic.
Container home builds, workshop conversions where the exterior shows, brand-facing pop-ups, photoshoot-ready inventory, retail or food service conversions, anyone modifying with windows and doors and not wanting to paint first.
Skip One-Trip if it\'s going behind the house, on rural property, or on a jobsite. Cargo-Worthy does the same structural job for less money. The premium only pays off when cosmetics matter.
One-Trip is our premium-condition tier. You\'re paying ~30-50% more than Cargo-Worthy for the same size. Worth it if the container will be seen — not worth it for jobsite storage.
See One-Trip pricing on each size →No mystery boxes — that's the pillar. Call us, tell us your use case, and we'll match a specific container in stock to the spec and send photos of the actual unit before payment. If the photos don't look right, we keep looking.
