Delivery · common questions

What people ask before a delivery.

Most placement questions get answered the same way: yes, we can probably do it, but call us first. Here's what comes up on every delivery call.

Common questions

Eight things that come up every delivery.

How much space does the tilt-bed truck need?

A tilt-bed needs roughly 70 ft of clear, straight drive-on space and a firm, reasonably level placement spot. We confirm your approach and placement area on the site walk before delivery.

Will it damage my driveway?

On soft asphalt in hot weather the truck can leave marks. We use plywood or steel plates on sensitive surfaces — bring it up on the call and we will plan for it.

How much overhead clearance do you need?

Keep the approach and placement path clear of low wires, overhanging branches, and awnings. Send photos during the site walk and we will flag any issues.

What if I have a slope?

We level the container on cribbing (wood blocks). Up to ~6 inches of slope is routine. Steeper sites need a flat pad prep before delivery.

How close to a building can you place it?

The tilt-bed needs room to slide the container off the back, so we confirm the setback on the site walk. Tell us "right against the back wall" and we'll spec the rig.

What if the truck can't make it?

Our no-place, no-charge guarantee. If conditions are different than described and we can't safely place it, you owe nothing. That's why the site walk is mandatory.

Can you stack two containers?

Stacking requires lifting equipment beyond tilt-bed delivery. We place containers side by side; if you need a stacked setup, tell us on the call and we will talk through the options.

How long does delivery take?

Usually 20-30 minutes for a routine tilt-bed placement. Add time for tricky access or precise positioning.
